TABC-Approved Training for Responsible Alcohol Service

The ServSafe Alcohol Online Course for Tennessee is designed to meet state-specific requirements for responsible alcohol service. This engaging, four-hour, mobile-enabled course features interactive exercises, video, audio, and real-world role-play scenarios that help prepare you to serve alcohol safely and confidently.

Before You Begin:

Tennessee students must obtain a RLPS ID number from the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) website before beginning the course.

After Completing the Course & Exam:

Once you’ve completed your training and passed the exam, you must email the following information to programcompliance@restaurant.org:

• Your full name

• Your RLPS ID number

• Class date and time

• Class location (your employer or city)

This information is required for us to submit your completion to the TABC.

Tennessee Alcohol Permits Update:

As of January 1, 2025, alcohol server permits in Tennessee are valid for 2 years.

Additional Course Info:

• You’ll have 90 days from your start date to complete the course.

• Course access expires one year from the purchase date.

• A unique Exam Access Code will be included in your emailed receipt.

• All sales are final.
