The live class is fast-paced and interactive, combining instructor-led training, review sessions, discussions, and exam guidance — all hosted via WebEx. Course Policy & Regulatory Information Regulatory Requirements This course aligns with the 2022 FDA Food Code, which states in Section 2-102.12 that the Person In Charge (PIC) must be a Certified Food Protection Manager — and must be on duty during all hours that food is being prepared or served. Our course and certification offering is designed to meet this federal standard and provide the knowledge base required of a PIC. It reflects current food safety regulations, best practices, and real-world operational insight. That said, your local or state jurisdiction may have its own rules (as they often do). City, county, and state health departments frequently include additional requirements or variations, so it’s always a good idea to check with your local regulatory authority to ensure you’re meeting all applicable guidelines. This class is part of our Instructor Certificate Recognition and Remote Food Safety Course series, built to help food service professionals confidently meet and exceed food safety standards in any setting. Exam Access & Instructions Instructions for accessing the proctored ServSafe® exam through ProctorU, along with your unique product key, will be emailed approximately 3 days before the class date. Please ensure your registration information is accurate to avoid any delays or access issues.
