This course equips alcohol servers, sellers, and managers in DC with the knowledge to serve responsibly and comply with ABRA regulations.
A Manager’s License in DC requires proof of alcohol training from a Board-approved provider. Managers must renew certification every 3 years. While not mandatory for all employees, many establishments require this training for servers, bartenders, and clerks.
The exam includes 40 multiple-choice questions. Two attempts are included, and a passing score of 70% is required. Certificates are valid for 36 months (3 years).
Managers in DC must complete alcohol awareness training prior to licensure. Proof of certification must be submitted to ABRA, and recertification is required every 3 years.
