This Alcohol Awareness Training course is approved by the District of Columbia Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration (ABRA). This course equips alcohol servers, sellers, and managers in DC with the knowledge to serve responsibly and comply with ABRA regulations.
A Manager’s License in DC requires proof of alcohol training from a Board-approved provider. Managers must renew certification every 3 years. While not mandatory for all employees, many establishments require this training for servers, bartenders, and clerks.
The exam includes 40 multiple-choice questions. Two attempts are included, and a passing score of 70% is required. Certificates are valid for 36 months (3 years).
