Arkansas Responsible Permittee Program

In Arkansas, the Responsible Permittee Program supports permittees (and their employees) who sell or serve alcoholic beverages by completing an approved training course within 30 days of hire and maintaining all required training records. The Arkansas Alcoholic Beverage Control Division may suspend or revoke a permittee’s designation if the program requirements are not met.

The training must be completed by employees authorized to sell or serve alcohol within 30 days of their employment, and the permittee must keep documentation of each employee’s training. Certification can be renewed annually.
